Bisnode’s southern market division consists of countries from former Yugoslavia: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. They’re part of the international Bisnode group, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in 18 European countries.
Challenges
Bisnode Southern market places a lot of value on unified operations of the whole region. Because we’re present in four different countries, it’s very important for us to have coordinated work processes in all departments, especially finances.
Solution
Using PANTHEON, all financial and accounting processes and tasks in all countries are performed in the same manner and in accordance with local legislation. This goes for payroll, travel expense management, VAT, issuing and posting invoices, or preparing financial statements and reports for state institutions.
Dashboards are an excellent feature of PANTHEON, allowing us to track key operational data, such as liquidity, profitability, client locations, profit center profitability and others.
Because we operate also in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia and have to compile reports for the company’s owners, proper financial planning and reporting poses a big challenge. PANTHEON solves this issue by collecting data of each country in one place and allowing us to export that data to our internal tools for further processing and reporting that complies with the requirements of the Bisnode group.
Effect
Without PANTHEON, consolidating data would consume an enormous amount of time and there would still be a significant risk of human error. Now we can set everything up with a few clicks, specify what data we need and the rest is taken care of automatically by the software.
When we were choosing our business information system, we were primarily concerned with recommendations and opinions of existing users, existing support infrastructure in Slovenia and the region as well as its localization status in the countries where we are present. We have entrusted PANTHEON with our business, because by using one system we have more control over the operations and finances in all countries where Bisnode Southern market is present.
