Conclusion of Framework Agreement with VEON Ltd.
In accordance with the regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and applicable legislation, Datalab Tehnologije, d. d., is publishing the following message:
On 22 December 2017, Datalab Agro AG (www.datalab.ch), based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, part of the Datalab d. d. Group, signed a Global Framework Agreement with VEON Ltd. (www.veon.com), the leading telecommunications provider in the CIS, making Datalab Agro AG VEON’s provider of digital agricultural data and applications.
Datalab Agro will provide VEON with weather data, satellite images of agricultural fields, pests and pesticide usage, and the following applications: BeeWeb for apiculture management, Cattle for livestock management, PANTHEON FS Field Scout application, PANTHEON FA and FW software for complete farm management, PANTHEON VET for managing veterinarian practices and veterinarian consulting, implementation as well as support for the aforementioned digital products.
VEON will combine Datalab’s products into packages for farmers and provide certain packages free of charge, while others will be premium payable services.
VEON is a telecommunications group operating in Italy (WIND), Russia (Beeline), Ukraine (Kyivstar), Kazakhstan (Beeline), Uzbekistan (Beeline), Kyrgyzstan (Beeline), Armenia (Beeline), Tajikistan (Beeline), Georgia, Algeria (Djezzy), Pakistan (Jazz), and Bangladesh (Bangalink). They service 237 million mobile users in these countries, at least a third farmers.
