Roma Company
Roma Company is a distributor of construction materials and tools: paint, varnish, facade materials, drywall. Our distribution network is mostly in Serbia and Montenegro, but we have customers in neighboring countries, too. There are 5 distribution centers in Belgrade, Podgorica, Niš, Novi Sad and Kraljevo as well as 11 stores, 9 of which are in Belgrade.
Challenges
We’ve been using PANTHEON since 2004. We use pretty much all modules except for manufacturing and service. At first, we only used its wholesale and accounting features, but we soon realized that we also need the other features to manage goods, financials, and e-business.
Solution
We have upgraded PANTHEON with WMS and mobile sales capacities. We first began adopting the work process at our Belgrade location. This was then slowly adopted in Podgorica. On a day-to-day basis, we monitor transaction reports by customer and supplier. We also use the ZEUS analytics tools to get automatic reports. One of the biggest advantages of PANTHEON is the ability for us to stay up to date on our current stock, stock movements, and to set different prices at warehouses in different regions, with different contracts for customers or suppliers. There’s also the time-saving aspect of the automatic data transfer from orders to documents, which means we don’t have to enter the same data twice. We can quickly check and print documents, and posting is mostly automated, again saving the company precious time.
Effect
A centralized and fast overview gives our employees insight into the current state of business, helping us to make better decisions and allowing us to respond to market demands faster. This in turn improves our strategic decision making and long-term planning.
